Glastonbury Festival

TESS have been a partner with Glastonbury Festival since 2002, helping deliver a consistently safe event come rain or shine. We work closely with the Licensee, Licence Co-ordiantor and the Area Organisers to manage the safe delivery of the huge range of infrastructure, production and entertainment required to create the biggest green-field festival in the world.
As well as preparing and collating a mountain of (electronic) paperwork, TESS provide 14 safety officers and support staff to work throughout the construction and show phases.
TESS have helped draft and deliver comprehensive policies to tackle the myriad of potential safety challenges on the site- ranging from Nosie at Work to the presence of high pressure gas transmission lines.
Following the 2009 festival Mendip District Council's de-brief stated "Yet again TESS are to be commended on their efforts", and overall the show was to be considered a great success.
According to TESS Director Tim Roberts; "We couldn't wish for a better client or a greater opportunity to demonstrate that a co-operative approach to safety management is the only surefire way to achieve results."
"Thanks for keeping us all safe in 2011" Michael Eavis
