Roger Waters' Wall Tour

Mike Herbert spent a lot of time in the air commuting to the USA during the immense task of designing and building the semi-automated wall structure. The schedule for this project includes leap-frogging steel installations and sets to accommodate a hectic schedule of back-to-back dates in the US, UK and Europe. With a total of 25 trucks and a complex build, effective safety management was essential and the tour proceeded without incident.

But Herb's input did not end there, he was able to assist the Production Manager in any number of ways to ensure that the tour addressed not only the safety of all concerned, but also the requirements of the various licensing authorities along the way.
