LA Story - Event Live Expo
In February Tim Roberts is off to Event Live Expo in Los Angeles. His willingness to suffer the extreme weather conditions of California does him credit. Tim's reward will be to chair the panel session on a topic that has come to prominence of late, namely structural collapse. The session will cover all aspects of temporary structure safety. The session will look at design and build to minimise the chance of collapse in the first place; how budgets and costs can affect the best intentions of safety planners; and contingency planning, including response to incidents, if the worst does happen.
Also on the panel will be Ron Chamberlain, Live Nation's director of global touring ; Joe Sanchez, MD of Eighteentwentysix Ltd., currently production manager on Rihanna's world tour; and Pierre-Luc Rompre, sales director for Stageline, builders of mobile and trailer stages.
